 It's the top edge of a disposable plastic drinking cup. Similar to this

I have absolutely zero feel for how this will do on the the broad appeal vote.

Post-challenge notes:
Did well enough for something very abstract. As expected, the guessability of an entry had absolutely no bearing on the final average. If anything, the more identifiable entries were the ones that came in at the top.

I thought this was the best in challenge and should have ribboned for sure. Truly shocked it finished where it did. I guess my idea of a great image is far off from what the norm thinks here on DPC. Great work!

Wonderful rich color and lovely simplicity. I like the diagonal sweep of the white line, the triangular black negative space, and the light on the deep red fold. It seems like some sort of fabric like a curtain tied back.

I just keep thinking bicycle, but I don't really think that is what it is. Lord... I like the colors and composition. Love the lighting.
