LOVE this JB...I gave this an 8, if there had been just a "touch" less foreground and only the mountain layers...it would have easily gotten a 10 from me...wonderful job

Great entry JB - You obviously picked the right candidate for the challenge. Your post processing is getting a lot more sophisticated.

Great capture of ridges. Interesting texture on the snow (?) in the foreground.

Wonderful layers, of course. The textured foreground really sets it into motion.

This is like two images - the up close one for contrast and detail, the upper portion for dreaminess and layers.

Really a wonderful capture! Even though the texture is interesting, I think cropping the foreground would make this a stronger image. (IMHO)

Great shapes and lines of the mountain-scape. Love how the clouds/fog drape themselves around the peaks. A slightly above average shot that could move into the exceptional category if the crop were different to keep focus on the strong elements in the composition. The bottom 1/3 of the shot calls too much attention away from the fabulous view of the mountain peaks. The light toned areas of the bottom third act like a beacon that draws attention away from the darker toned areas of the composition.
