For 2011 I'm going for the Brown with photos that I think have more than 2 seconds to offer. I enjoy the pleasant surprises some photos give me when I gaze without expectation & wait to see what's there. I like this one for the way the shadow curls under the bench, suggesting a rocker, & also for the angle of the light. I like the way the bench legs get lost in the shadows on the ground, giving a slightly unbalanced/weightless feeling to the bench, & for the lack of detail in the shadows in general. I don't get as much time with my camera as I'd like & I was lucky to get that morning. It was a lovely, peaceful walk.
