Historic Roswell Mill Dam built on Vickery Creek (Big Creek) in the 1830s to power a cotton mill near Atlanta. The mill made yarn for Confederate grey uniforms. Under orders of General Sherman, the Union army burned the mill in 1864 and shipped the mill workers to the North.

"Thousand Angels" comes from the many smooth "wings" of water flowing from crevices between the dam's stones.

really nice fall, you have a long enough exposure that it makes the water look like ribbons without it being to much (IMO)

This is a pretty cool dam. I find myself wanting to see a bit more outside of the dam, particularly in the left half of the photo.
