Two of the 7 lion cubs at the National Zoo having a bit of fun wrestling in the snow. Fierce and adorable at the same time ;-) Love the contrast in their facial expressions. The cub on the bottom was pushed off that wall seconds later, and the dominant cub didn't seem the least bit sorry to have done it!
PP - tonemapped in qtpfsgui (pregamma 0.697, mantiuk method, contrast mapping 0.1, saturation factor 1.029, detail factor 1), erased background/merged with original in Luminousity mode at 10% transparency, rotated, cropped, white balance, increased saturation, desaturated concrete, dodged faces and arms, levels, increased contrast, resized, sharpened, added border. |
