 From the Amazon rain forest exhibit at the zoo. TEENSY little thing (though a 3 week old Strawberry Poison Dart Frog was even smaller ... but I would have needed extension tubes and the ability to stick the camera *in* the terrarium to get decent detail on him!). Lots of info at the exhibit on how fungal outbreaks are killing tropical frogs in record numbers ... sad.

Didn't want to crop tight because I wanted to keep some sense of scale to show how small the frog is. Also ... this was shot at ISO 6400. The light pretty much spotlighted him from this angle, which worked nicely for me, though I would love to "fix" the pinholes in that leaf above the frog.

PP - cropped, white balance, increased saturation on cyan and yellows, decreased brightness, resized, sharpened with noise reduction.

This is so cool. I feel this def. needs a tighter crop but really cool pic. I realize the purpose is to set it in its enviroment but still to much space. 6

I'm divided, this could be a contender, but the square format the composition and the border, all detract IMHO.

Wow, i'm not sure how this fits into 'Delicate', but it certainly has a great feeling of depth and the coloours are stunning.
