The selective desaturation doesn't work for me here. I'm not sure why you're trying to draw attention to the out-of-focus flowers.

I like the dof and the lighting but the flowers are distracting from what your title would otherwise draw your eye to.

selective desat is hard to pull off well, and the flowers being blurry were not a good choice to be the only thing in color

To me the coloration of the flowers makes the image all about them and draws attetnion away from your true subject.

for me...I would have scored this much higher had the flowers been razor sharp in focus...since my eye is drawn to them first

Selective desat rarely works well... This is not (for me) an example that works well..

for this particular shot i dont like the selective desateration. if the flowers themselves were in focus it would help make it look better, but they're not so it looks a little funny. Its kind of distracting with a big bright yellow blur is there and the actual subject blends in with the background color wise.
with all of that said, i think that its a great moment captured, that just wasnt edited right.

I like the idea in this photo, but I'm not liking the photo itself. I think it's because of the selective saturation on a burry part of the photo.

I'm in conflict here, the title is about the kiss, but the photos is about the flower. Leaving me conflicted on my vote.
