If the future's looking dark
We're the ones who have to shine
If there's no one in control
We're the ones who draw the line
Though we live in trying times
We're the ones who have to try
Though we know that time has wings
We're the ones who have to fly.

Judy - his soul comes through his eyes in the photo, your treatment enhances his expression! :)

Pools of sadness-his eyes-probably he was only naughty and feeling remorse ....the more poignant , poetic road is one I'll take :)

great image and title. i don't recognize those lyrics but i like them. if more people took on this attitude of personal responsibility, how much better we all would be.

This has a real air of poignancy about it to me . . almost bitter sweet between the good looking lad and the title - the aged look of the photo makes you wonder what the story was, what became of him, did it all work out . . the words and picture remind me a little of this poem link

Of course it all good knowing that he was happily in someones front room :- )
