 "The second thing was less tangible something about his eyes, the way the dog met his gaze." From the Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski

This has three layers. Two are on the image itself to give it a scratchy feel, after converting it to a sepia in Color Efex Pro old photo filter. The third is an old book, done just on the edges to make the pic look old and worn.

A lovely image, and effective layering as well, Judy. I'm not so keen on the very clean edges between the image and the border - they seem to fight against the subtle worn-ness of the whole.

Boone certainly meets our gaze. He is a lovely dog, and I'll bet he's pretty smart with that breed mixture.

i love dogs so much .. !!
and its especially excellent when i come on them in our side .. your boone is beautiful .. such a gorgeous face .. your processing aint bad either .. !!..:)
