 On the way home from work and the sky was playing nice. Decided to stop and grab a couple of shots, only problem, the battery was dead on my camera and the spare was in the charger at home!!! Did the old take the battery out and put it back in trick...it worked! I was able to grab a few shots, each time taking the battery out and putting it back in. Would've preferred to switch some settings on the camera but didn't have the juice. :-/ This would've been a prime candidate for some bracketed exposures and HDR...oh well, it is what it is. Adjusted some color tones and went away from the blues for some drama.

If you had named it "Rays" then I guess it would've been MY photo, har har. I always enjoy it when you include a little background commentary with the photo. Nice score, competition must be getting stiffer when 5.8+ gets you around the 50% mark! Merry Christmas Barry.

This is just stunning. The silhouetted trees and the undulating hill. Holy sh*t!! This would be so amazing on a HUGE canvas.
