 the belt brothers.

took this in time for the faces challenge but didn't get time to edit it. these are a couple belts that i hang on a towel rack in my bathroom. i see these guys every day. they actually brighten my morning as i get dressed.

on this one i used the texture as background but i couldn't get the original image to stand out enough. so i duplicated the original image and laid that on top of both and used multiply. that seemed to kick it back in. then i created a vignette and added the white border.

This would have been great in the current challenge. You could of titled it "Happy Together" from an old 60's or 70's song.

This is sweet! They look quite charming & happy. Yet another chance to wish we could use overlays in a challenge, 'cos this is gorgeous. And I like the white border too, it separates the photo from that dull grey BG.

That is absolutely adorable! Who'd a thunk??

This would make a fun greeting card. So many of them are clever these days and less like the typical Hallmark stuff. :)

I love this! Too bad you didn't put this in the faces challenge... for me this is much more imaginative than most of the entries.

Great work, comical and interesting. I find that getting the main image to stand out without crowding the overlay is a major job. Cool ;)
