I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives :his is excellent - one of those images that confound the brain. It doesn't seem possible yet here it is. The red of the leaves is magnificent as is the texture on the trunks. The overall lighting balance is top notch. I'd need Viveza to get it that optimised! ;-)
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

I like this one even better than the similar entry in PH challenge.
The strong diagonals and the pop of color are lovely. Odd stuff in the sky though... like it's been blurred in PP in places. Kinda distracting to me. (not voting) |
