LOL I think most people would agree I never called your work sh*t, feel free to interpret as you will, but my comment was directed at the object itself resembling poo. And it's CHOCOLATE, chocolate LOGS have a tendency to resemble certain..things.

I do like the DOF on this and the focus. The colors look drab though. The brown standing out against a vivid white backgound would emphasize it more. Curves to adjust it some, maybe?

Good setting and exposure, but unappealing chocolate choice. The long orientation pointed toward the viewer doesn't really lend itself to shallow DOF.

Nice usage of shallow DOF tought the setup regarding the background sheet could maybe have been better. Cool lightning.

great idea here with the soft focus and backdrop, lighting let you down in that it's too flat to bring out the elements of your composition.

Can't quite figure out what this is...even after reading the title. Chocolate in some sheets? The focus seems off and the lighting seems dark to me.

I like the swirl of creamy material and how it complements the flake chocolate. If your depth of focus were greater you'd have better impact - only a small middle section of this is in focus. It is also a bit dark and lacking in contracting lighting.

Whatever these things are (this is the third one I've seen) I want it!! Looks yummy.

I think this photo needs a deeper DOF. I had the same trouble on my photo so I know it's difficult with a close up!
