 Taken at Chester Zoo in fading light, i think i learnt that all is not lost if the lighting is poor.

Processing:

Raw adjust.
Crop.
Topaz de noise.
Topaz detail.
clone out distracting branches around lions face.
Topaz de noise.

If this one doesn't do well i can still take away the fact that i recovered the image to a pretty decent standard.

Nice capture of his pose. He looks very regal. The sticks are a little distracting but I guess there wasn’t much you could do about that.

A bit of processing to bring out the highlights in the eyes would make this score a full point or two higher, I think. Good capture. (not voting)
