I was surprising how different chocolate chips can be! The generic store brand had a much nicer shape then the high priced ones. I guess they put their $$ into advertising, not their chip shape. You really have to get close to a chip to see the difference.

I didn't use oil or heat lamps to get the sheen. I used spray acrylic. The acrylic soaked into the chips rather quickly, so I had to reapply. They did get a little glossier than I would have liked, this is one of my later shots. Unfortunately I couldn't eat any of the chocolates afterwards.

Mike is a rebel and loves white, Lina wants approval and choses brown, I'm a staff and see that everyone shines in their own special way.

Very nicely done! Did you paint the chocolate with egg white or oil to make it glisten? One of my favorites this challenge. Well done!

Excellent work. I only wish the white "chip" was more white than cream in color. I love that you faced them all in the same direction and put the heat to them.

Very nice. I like the idea of this one and I think it's executed very well.

neat idea. The chips seem to be sweating under the lights, but that adds sparkle to the image. 9

The large number of highlights do confuse the composition, nice picture though.

I would have cropped until all was in focus, less is more.

i like the melty sheen on all of them, really stands out from the rest of the photos which used chocolate chips and kisses as well.

Very nice idea for the challenge. The composition of your picture is really nice; however, the melty, slimy look that the chocolate has really detracts from the photo. It's too bad it got so melty in the hot lights.
