 This was pure serendipity. This is a favorite hike of ours, the kids love the turtles that are usually out on the rocks. We had a heavy storm yesterday, so this pond (old Villa Park Dam) is a good 6 inches higher than normal. Anyway, the trees above the pond were glowing when we arrived, beautiful scene. Gotta love sharing these moments with your kids.

Interesting look at the world. Instead of focusing on the waterfall, you focus on the mixtures of colors that really make this beautiful.

Beautiful... at first the viewer thinks it's an abstract and then, when the eyes keep moving... POP! There's focus! Wonderfully done. (not voting)
