Love the emotion you convey! Just makes me feel all warm and googly inside. And you got a Timfy blue angel - how cool is that? Congrats!

The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it’s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It’s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it’s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it’s the best way to protect your and the other’s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild.

You have perfectly captured that moment of uncluttered pure happiness when the cares of the day have blown away with the wind and the nagging thoughts are drowned out by the sounds of the sea allowing room for laughter, freedom and peace.

This is my top rated image for the challenge. This would rank way high in a regular FS for me as well. I am drawn to images like this. Love the blur, love the blown, love the feel. If this were mine I would be printing this out HUGE and hanging it in my living room for sure. Lovely image irregardless of the challenge theme. Gonna bust out my own reward thingee that I havent had out in quite some time. Seemed appropriate enough.

This feels right on so many levels. Your subjects, reduced to outlines, stand firm against the frenzy of nature surrounding them. The title is a little too suggestive. There's a sense of unity and bonding -- maybe happiness, but probably something more enduring. The picture reminds me of some of Harry Callahan's work. This will be high on my list.

The whiteness focuses all my attention on the figures, where it should be.

I really like this image. The funny thing is, the way the people look reminds me either of aliens, or Ernest Shepard's drawings of roo. Regardless -- I think it's wonderful. -8-

Like being in a dream... or drunk. Happiness while drunk? I'll buy either. 7

Lovely shot. High key really works perfectly for this. I was thinking along the same lines for my entry but it was just too jarring or something... had multiple problems. Anyway, this is truly great.

Sigh. I'm going to have to get a lensbaby... I love the darkness of the silhouettes against the whiteness of everything else, and just that patch of stirred sand, where a happy moment was just recently shared.
