Apply blue/green gradient to the black section only. Do the flip n blend on that section only. The crawling ants are still there at the end, so stroke 5 pixels at the end.

Superimpose Image and use (oh, heck, I forget the blending mode - one towards the bottom)

A highly magnified little beastie bug with Christmas Beetle overtones - some genetic engineering going on I think.
