 had to add milk to the chocolate sauce to make it the same color as the chocolate block

No, no, no, they're all part of the story. He melts the chocolate in the spoon with the lighter, then draws the up the chocolate into the syringe. 8-) So brilliant, I'm off to try it now.

Cool idea, the objects are a bit scattered, I would suggest a closer arrangement so the viewer would have a focal point. Also, a more dramatic lighting would fit the dramatic idea you're trying to convey :)
