A tree in a garden at the Disney Concert Hall. I do miss my trees in the fields in Wiesbaden... but this was a lovely little tree and a bit isolated even if standing in the shadow of a giant building.

By the way, the Disney Concert Hall is about the only place you can shoot in that area of downtown without numerous security guards approaching with the "You can't take pictures here" spiel. Sigh.

Gosh. This isn't doing well. Why?

Not sure why this would not have done well. The light and textures you captured are beautiful!

I have no idea why this didn't do better. It has so many interesting shapes and lines and tones!

Got an 8 from me, as well. Wonderful detail and tones to this. We have a similar problem with the security patrols in Ft. Worth's Sundance Square. One has to be extra careful to stay on public property or you WILL be chased off for taking photos. As long as I stay on the street or sidewalk, I haven't been harassed, but the moment I step into any area like a patio outside a restaurant, bike cops show up to chase me off.

Who'd have thought you'd have the MOST appropriate title (after roll-over....). I love this image and I think it deserved better. OTOH, an 8 from commenters ain't nothin'.

Wonderful take on such a well-known building. This creates a mood so different than most pictures of this building that it gives back a little spice!

This is lovely. Love the fact it's monotone. Great blending of details between the tree and the building.

This is so beautiful, Deb. The tree is so delicate and Oriental-art-looking. There is something really moving and tender about this image.
