This is a study in what overlays can do for a really horrible photo. And this was! It was way too light and out of focus, but the overlay saves it, at least a little:)

Why else do we save all of our horrible, oof, poorly conceived snapshots, but to resurrect them with pride in a side challenge and test all of our creative talents in doing so. This is a wonderful candid snapshot that tells a great story. Well saved!

I'd say a lot. This is marvelous. And I do think that is exactly what overlays are for: to make so-so images fabulous.

this looks like it was taken during my childhood (and that my friend is a long, long time ago!) love the process that you used to "age" the picture...
