My oldest son had used my backup body and the kit lens for a recent shoot. So, it was in his room when we were there and started this...

So here we are... cheap lens, old body (but certainly still good... reminds me of ME!)... and a photo shoot.

I could have used my usual body and some L glass if I'd gone downstairs... but when the time's right, shoot!

Actually, shoot ALL the time! LOL!

We had such fun with this... my daughter (center, DUH!) and my oldest son. So, I hope you like my triptych... But, either way, I'll be happy with the time spent with my kids when they asked me to take photos of them.

Good stuff... life. Yeah. It is.

Even though I forgot dinner was on the stove when I started... and we ate burned food. *sigh*

But, life is good, even when it's not.

I'm right. You know I am. :)

Came out great, gave you a 7. BTW, your borders are not even!

Never been a fan of blank backgrounds but this photo was the first time I noticed this challenge. I guess your topic is having me look inside and outside of the box. I loved the different elements of action and depth. If you like the camera then you must be ok in my book. Pleasing captions. I can see story. Thanks for sharing.

I have said this to others, and it is just my opinion but i liked the photos before i read the title. I was imagining much more and then the title completely limited my perspective. Sometimes it's good to let the "reader" interpret the story; it can make the photos more personal. I'm still voting on it how I would have voted before i read the title.

Not sure what to make of this. I like the shots, the presentation, everything is good. I think the second pic and how I t ties in with your series is throwing me off. 7

Nice shots - not sure about the shadow on the face in the left shot though :)
