another way of looking at whale teeth (baleen)

Says bear_music, Once again, I start picking nautical (or ichthyological) nits. To wit: Baleen is not "teeth". Baleen is made of keratin, the same protein found in human hair and fingernails.

LOL, Bear, you know that, and I know that, but about 80 out of 100 think teeth, (Heck, they live in the same place) so that's why I put the teeth/baleen business in there.

Thanks for bringing this fact to light.
