I have used Gimp to edit my photos with various techniques and I am still new to all this! I have cropped 2 images, made them into black and white images. The final image is not quite what I had in mind but is very close to it!

Looking thru your portfolio and this is SERIOUSLY GOOD!!! and the comments from the real seasoned photographers while it was in the challenge attest to that!! Even though it (ahemm) kinda broke the rules it shows great imangination and artistic flair!! Keep on shootin' your doing good so far!! (oh I really liked your desert road too)

Dopey me for not understanding the rules correctly!

Shame cos I spent so much time on this photo and really enjoyed it, despite upsetting my family due to "playing on the computer" rather than doing housework!

Even though it was disqualified I love the end result and think it is the most artistic thing I have ever done, I hope that future challenges will be as productive without the DQ!

Thanks for the comments.

Shame about the dq but it is still a very good photo!

Seriously, if this doesn't get the blue, I'll cry.

I hope this was legally done, because it is pretty cool, and I could definitely see something like this used in a magazine.

Whoah, that's creepy! Good detail and nice editing! I think I might enjoy it a bit more in color as opposed to B&W, but I'll admit that the B&W does make the camera lens less noticeable/more natural as the iris.

I think a closer crop would have done better... cool idea.
