Taken out on the wharf this morning. There was a very heavy mist -- almost rain, and some of the crazy light is due to what was accumulating on my filter. This started out as an HDR from four exposures, converted to b&w, and then threw in some Orton effect just for fun.

Take that walk on the wild side -- visit my Photo-a-Day blog.

The Orton Effect is a favorite of mine. Especially when subtle like this.

I like this a lot, the softness combinded with some limited areas of sharp really work well. Interesting idea of using the water droplets on you filter.

Again, a beautiful shot, dark and mystical, like from a movie noire :). I love those light effects.

Fantastic. I can look at night shots and never tire of them. I can smell the fish from here. :)

Again, love the darkness. Very nixter-like image. I like the triangle of reflected light on the deck.
