Back to macros! I love the little antennae sticking up behind the flower petal.

Had extension tubes on (36mm + 20mm).

I am not a bug person nor am I a water drop person, but I like the silhouette of the bug and the water mist on the petals. Good composition.

A very interesting bug shot! It tells a story and I love it. The bug trick is awesome and the green/grey background works very well with the orange.

This one is very creative. I like the shadow on the strong red, and the little antennae give it the "awww" factor.
That 105mm Nikkor is an outstanding lens. I bought one in 06 at a pawn shop for $60, and it's one of the sharper lenses in my kit.

I think its kinda cool that the antenae are sticking out, yet the shadow doesn't show them being so long.
