The highlights aren't too bad though. I little blown, but I don't think it detracts from the shot. Sometimes if I can't get the burn tool to work the way I want, I use the spot healing over and over to slowly pull over the milder highlights on the edge. |

This is so beautiful! I love the point of view, very non-intrusive and the colors are perfect. I don't mind the blown highlights. |

What a lovely, lovely little girl and the natural light is perfect for this portrait.
Burnt highlights. Sometimes a little painting works at low opacity and perhaps then apply a blending mode...
ps - the only possible candidate for such technique might be the bit of collar that is a touch hot. Nothing else needs it. IMO of course.

This is absolutely precious. Love the point of view. The blown highlights don't bother me, but you could try burning them a little. I think the brightness adds to the atmosphere of the image, though. |
