Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) - The subject is well chosen for the challenge. I like the simplicity and lines of the glass, as well as the few water drops. Well laid out, with off-center main subject.
(2) BACKGROUND – I like the light colored background. It would be interesting to see a light blue sky as you said you were trying to get. It might have been too much. You might want to experiment with Photoshop and drop a blue sky in and see how it looks.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL – Very good; focus is right on, good use of DOF in my opinion. Keeps eye focused on the glass, not reflection
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL - excellent job. Good choice of white balance to bring out the blue.
(5) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO – well executed and good photo. I would guess that the score, while quite good, wasn’t higher was because many people judged it as of medium interest.

| Very nice. Looks like there is a little fish swimming around in there. Love the angle and framign/cropping as well. The focus and clarity are good. overall a very nice shot. definately blue. good luck in the challenge. |

| very pretty. blues and whites. touches the edges nicely. composition is great, dof great (especially in the upper left) i think a 10 works. |

| I don't see a reason for cropping so tightly, unless it is to hide the way you are holding them at that angle. But I still would liked to have seen more of the glasses. They are beautiful glasses and deserve to be seen. The glass on the left is out of focus, and this doesn't add to the photo in my opinion. Decent composition but poor execution. PTL 4 |

| Cool... not sure just want I'm looking at but this is a neat photo! I love the dof... The word reflections and tree reflections are a little distracting... but it's a very interesting and thought provoking, and blue photo. Nice job and good luck! |
