I am putting together prizes for the kids' school fall festival this week. I love pinwheels and started playing with this one. As soon as the cat saw this blowing, he started backing away. I cannot figure out why he'd be afraid of it, but it made me laugh. So here I was showing him that it's really not a bad thing.

I don't think he believed me :)

That's darling! You can see the skepticism on his face.

The cat and pinwheel alone make for a great picture but the way in which the netting makes a colour collage for a background really adds polish to this image.

Fun photo and a great kitty portrait. I love the clarity and colors, very natural.
I don't think cats like shiny spinning objects :).

You can never figure out what a cat is thinking. Dogs are so easy in that respect. Maybe the shiny movement scared him. I love the inclusion of the criss-crossed screen. This is a really good kitty portrait. :)

The cat is smart, it is tuned into universal forces, it knows evil incarnate when it sees it.

Agree with Deb.... not a bad thing, but the cat looks like he doesn't quite believe what he's presented with.
It's kind of cute, actually.

The cat does not look convinced. Not at all. In fact, now I am believing that pinwheels are inherently evil. Clowns use pinwheels, and we all know clowns are evil....
