Small nit - I'm assuming the stalk of the flower was put through the spaces in the blinds and that is why there is a black (would have been white) gap between two sections in lower third on right...
Honest comment - as soon as I saw this the lines really complement the soft rounded edges of the flower - well done. Good sharp shot and hope it does well! |

| This really stands out. Jumps out from the thumbnail and when blown up it's just a really strong image. Colors are wonderful, and I like the organic contrast with the inorganic symmetry. That said, I wish the blinds(?) were perfectly parallel and there wasn't a bulge where the stem is sticking through them. That's a guess of course, as all these negative shots have me guessing as to what's really going on. I'm not voting, just observing. |

| Stunning. And not just a pretty flower shot. The lines add a bold and beautiful graphic quality, and create a structured counterpoint to the rather chaotic beauty of the gerbera (my favorite flower!!). Stunning. Front page. |
