Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Well this is going to be tough one to critique since I really like the image and voted it a 7. Congrats on a top 10 finish

First reaction: Cool! I really loved the background. The hooded people gave me a scary type of feeling. I related it to KKK here in the states which is kind of scary to me since I live in the NW USA and not that educated in that era. I'm not a religious person either, yet the historic feature of it fascinates me very much. I think the low angle perspective of the shot put this image over the top for me. Having the three people in front along with depth of the shot really works. I don't see a technical flaw at all here. I guess the only reason I didn't score it higher is I really couldn't tie it to a Fairy Tale, which is my misfortune.

Bottom line: Awesome work!

Beautiful and unusual image but not anything to do with a fairytale methinks. 7

Beautiful image. Not sure that it is a fairy tale; wonderful just the same.

What sort of fairy tales were YOU told as a kid!!!??

Very painterly! Beautifully lit, with a touch of surrealism, and ominous-ness(?)!I love that you've used some sort of mannequins to create the figures, and wonder about the enigma of the KKK member on the left. This amount of work and excellence resembles the mark of gyaban, though I know it's not him (he's busy in another image :-)

Would love to know where you shot this, and how you got permission!

Seems more religiously themed than a fairy tale but maybe my mama didn't read this one to me! The image itself is dynamic!
