 Nothing done to this at all other than resize - but there appears to be a slight halo around the crow. I looked at the full size version and it is the same.

He looks like he's wondering 'What is she looking at?' The eye really draws your attention.

The photo is interesting enough to override any technical in-camera generated artifacts. Really well composed and that eye of the bird stands out.

nonetheless that eye is striking in the nearly flat head shape, and the shapes feature here. as well, I love the range of tones, almost totally avoiding the dark dark greys.

His/her eye is really striking. I think I just always assumed that crows' eyes are solid black.
