This is a great photo "a la maniere de" Pissarro, Sisley, early Monet. Would it be even more "soothing" with a little blur of the trees and little houses?
The water has this oily quality so hard to capture. |

		First impressions: calm, relaxing, smooooth
Technique: I assume PP with a lot of smoothing? (I don't use Topaz so I don't know how it was achieved; in Lightroom I would go negative on Clarity but that's probably too simplistic?)
Suggestions: I would try a tighter crop losing the boats and the large house on the right (there is nothing wrong with a square photo! :)

Overall I thought it was a good example of a photo in a style of an impressionistic painting.

(How am I doing with this commenting business?? Is this OK?) |

		Is this portrait smooth?

Just riding the edge of Topaz abuse to a very nice result. Its like watching a surfer ride the back lip of a wave. |

		| Were you the one who won a challenge with a single green and blue sailboat? This image reminds me of it. This time of day is so wonderful. It imbues a strange melancholic quality. And the water! NN? |
