This is Beau, a high-content wolf-dog rescued from owners who had him tied to the fence with a wire around his neck. He is now thriving with his new pack.
What an incredible face. I love how his right eye (to our left) is in shadow. Kind of sad that he's behind a fence, but it's probably saving his life. This has a sadness that is haunting.
such a fantastic shot .. love his eye .. mesmerizing ..
i feel sick to the stomach when i hear about animals that have been abused ..
its heart warming to hear about them being saved from such torture ..
its a world of contrasts .. pain and suffering .. joy and happiness .. it makes you wonder .. :)
