Saw the bold shadows and took a quick shot as I headed up the stairs to this porch. There were people milling about, so I didn't have time to really compose the shot perfectly. I wish the second chair wasn't cut off the edge of the frame. I wish that white planter box wasn't so blown out in the direct sun. But still, a pleasing shot to me.

I agree, it is pleasing. I like the lines on the porch and the lines of the chair - at different angles. This would be a cool study in black and white too. I think there is enough variance in light to dark, to make for something interesting that way too. Good eye!

Nice leading lines from the shadows, can't make up my mind if I want to see the rest of the furthest chair.

Nice interplay between the bold colors and the lines in the siding, the chair's slats, the floorboards and the shadows.

One of the nice things about photography is we get another chance to get it right sometimes. Unless you live a long way away from where this was taken, you can always go back at another time and redo it. Some pros wait for years to take a good picture of a location they like. I think this one deserves another chance for all of the reasons you mentioned.
