Art is relative. I would have preferred a mix up of highlights and shadows with at least some midtones. A little too bit mappish. That is just me though.

I think the heavy contrast makes this more of an abstract, but it's very interesting compositionally.

the duotone color is not very pleasing. I'm seeing it in some kind of violet, and appears too cold. otherwise a good symmetry - good idea with the paper in the glasses!
