 Probably a common one, it is my 2nd picture ever uploaded and the back ground was a sheet of black card. I put the ice on a skewer and held it over the flame. I readjusted contrast and brightness in GIMP.

Gimp is a good program .. funny this shot didn't get a few comments as it is well done and suits the challenge. Good job exposing it too.
