 Toaster? No, it's my oven! The lens is between the two racks, and that's the oven light in the upper right. I conceived this for black and white still life. I was going to set a scene up in the oven and have it illuminated by only the insanely bright oven light. I scrapped the idea (really, what was I thinking?) and was left with this. In black and white, I rather liked it. Reminded me of an Eggleston image I saw recently. But I'm no Eggleston.

The title completely fits such a dull shot, and in a appropriate twist, it is what makes the picture. Inside of a toaster?
