I always think these guys look like dancers, with a petaled skirt. I like the violet background.

Excellent choice of background for the subject. The macro shot and positioning of the petals makes me think the flower is roaring to be heard, or perhaps sadly losing the battle to hang onto its petals. I like that contrast in representation.

This actually made me sigh out loud!! Incredible background for this flower, it totally raises it to another level. Great complimentary colors, and the slightly backlit lighting brings out the details. Heavenly.
