Very sweet. Love the chubby cheeks and chins.

Absolutely beautiful emotive portrait. Excellent use of shallow DOF. Perfect composition. One of my two favourite images in this FS. Like the other, I initially gave it an 8 and have bumped it to a 10 on second pass. Well done.

I love the tones here. I almost commented on the yellow spots on the baby's skin, but deciding to take more than a nanosecond to look at your image, I've decided that I like it more because of them. (I know that they're flowers of course.)

Not your run-of-the-mill baby portrait. Very good.

Well this one has some serious impact. Honestly, I think that it comes from the unusual blue-green that is so prominent. There's a strong sense of nostalgia that jumps out here.

The composition is fantastic and in general, I'd say that every aspect of this pic is well managed with obvious intent. Excellent!

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: See what you've made me do - offer one of these 'unconventional eye' comments on a baby portrait! The light, the composition / crop, the coloration (Is that Color Efex's ink filter dialled back a little?) all conspire to give something masterful. Those who enjoy taking portraits should use this as a reference piece.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: Dying to see who's this is. Great stuff.

Very cool portrait. The color of the background really adds to the calmness of this photo. Great composition as well.

Quite like the foreground bokeh to paint color on the face. Like the acidized color scheme as well. A different sort of portrait and very nicely done!
