 picture of a potato spiral, made with a apple/potato corer, pealer, slicer. set on a piece of glass with red paper behind it, and a blue paper underneath it and light from above. adjusted the sat and temp a bit, and the curves, then added a border and cropped and resized.

thanks everyone for the wonderful comments! i was very surprised/excited about getting a ribbon for this... after what happened last time i got a ribbon, i was a little nervous with the whole validation process...but hopefully this one will stick and i will have redeemed myself :)

I love this image. It must have taken you ages to do that. I think the reflection is brilliant and I really like the composition of the whole page.

Beautifully executed. I am a sucker for orange. I could actually imagine hanging it on the wall somewhere in of the rental apartments I manage. Favving it just in case :)

Cute idea! I wish this could have had the join line of the back to the top cloned out as it would have really made a difference. Still intriguing in it's own way. 7
