 This image was very much designed for viewing at full size. I would prepare one for viewing on DPC, but I don't know of any way to upload a web-resolution version while still keeping the full-resolution version.

In response to pixelpig's question: the gridding is the result of two blending layers. On one of them, I filled the layer with black-and-white stripes, each stripe being one pixel wide; the second layer is the same, but each stripe is two pixels wide. The layers are set to Darken mode. The two-pixel stripes are masked out in the center of the image.

I like the way it looks like a ridge with clouds when you look at it this way but when you turn it 180 degrees it loos like snow and trees. Very nice fantasy colours as well.

I am very curious about the grid I see on this, if you did it on purpose & how? I like the way the cliffs almost make faces, but not quite. And the way the text is inconspicuous. Sweet.

[eta] I did look at the larger image. I agree, it causes almost physical pain sometimes to decrease the size & loos all that lovely detail. Thanks for the extra notes. Very interesting. Would that make it impossible to print well?
