Japanese Beetle. Horrid little bugs, in general, and this one is the scout for the coming invasion, I'm sure. My poor plants are going to have very holey leaves in no time.
Didn't know before I took these shots that they had little deely boppers on their antennae. Tiny little redeeming feature ;-)
36mm extension tube, handheld.

| I think he's already been by my house. My roses have all but died after being eaten by something. Great dof on this and those little deely boppers are quite awesome! |
