This is Sebastian. He's a chocolate tabby point Siamese and he's 13 this year.

I've never tried using him as a model before - I never thought he'd sit still long enough. However, he'd just had tea so he was in a good mood. He did whatever I wanted him to. It was great. Seeing this photo has made me realise what a naturally scruffy individual he is.

I liked how the little cat on the Dentabits tin is looking up at him. I also like how he's got the same stripy forehead as the cat on the tin.

I think I'll get makred down from people with darker monitors. This challenge has really taught me the value of learning how to light things properly.

Adjustments: Level, slight cropping, some Neat Image. I wish this was a member challenge so I could clone out the cat hair in the bottom of the screen.

great shot .. (the cat doesn't seem to be liking the photoshoot) .. only improvement can be the lighting, the cat seems overexposed.

Better lighting needed to be worthy of consideration for a slick print mag

this is just a great add, just a little more texture on the cat's chest would've been nice... still, this is 10!

That's one ugly cat.

There is a lot of glare off the cans and shadow on the cat. Somehow the cats eyes look kinda funny as well. Good idea maybe next time use something to difuse the light.

Nice job. Especially since you were working with an animal.

Nice idea. Great composition. It is really great seeing someone doing more than just shoehorning in a cat shot. This is really creative and nails the challenge perfectly. It really shows that one can take the flower, bug, pet, etc. subject of choice, and with some thought and imagination make it work really well. Also, that's a great looking kitty :-) Great job.

I really like what you've done here. I like the expression and he presentation of the food. It really has an ad feel and I can tell you put a lot of effort into thinking this out. I find some of the harsh reflections (possibly from a flash or hot overhead lighting) shows up on the cans on the top. It's too bad you can't do post-processing in this challenge. However, overall very well done.

What's up with the eyes on this cat? It looks, I dunno, almost cross-eyed.

This shot greatly meets the challenge and is really well put together. With that background the cat and the product really sticks out. The only thing that isn't purr-fect is the white light/flash showing up on the top Whiskas can.

The darkness of the eyes and the unusual highlights on them give the cat a very demonic expression. The layout is interesting but the light needs to me more controlled.

If I fed my cat Whiskas, this ad would seriously turn my away from using it. Honestly, that cat looks deformed.

I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but honestly, it's an ad right? 4 for trying.
