my husband was such a dear to oblige! i had to exaggerate the contrast levels and turn it black and white to make it look even crazier than it was... i do believe it works!

thanks a lot for all your great comments, i had lots of fun with this picture! and for those who said that they'd choose another model, that's fine, my husband probably wouldn't choose to pose for you either...

I can't say this makes me want to run out and buy this chair. The coloring doesn't seem to match the mood you would want to set for a pool chair, and I'd have chosen a different model.

Thats pretty cool, and funny...a bit disturbing though :)

Weird. A bit washed out. I think this may have been better in color with the water clearly in shot.

Funny (in a disturbing way) and it's a dynamic composition but it would have been more effective in color. I absolutely do not understand the choice of b&w here.

Nice bit of humour..the sort of thing used to grab attention in the advertising world. I think colour may have worked better in this instance as it would have defined the water more clearly but overall a very good example of advertising technique
