Possibly a nymph of a different kind of grasshopper from yesterday's bug, not completely morphed into its adult form yet. Teeny, teeny, tiny with adorable big green eyes. Posed on a daylily.
Handheld with the 36mm extension tube again. Could have used more DOF but there wasn't enough light coming through the daylily and he moved during the shot where I used fill flash.
PP - rotated, cropped, levels, increased saturation, dodged baby bug, burnt some of flower, cheated and cloned back legs from another shot where they were clearer (consider this one Expert Editing), resized, sharpened, added border. |

A long journey up for such a little guy - beautiful colors and a great find. His eyes are the same color as my cat's eye. |
