It looks so alive & thrumming with energy & just look at the light you've captured. Not to mention the color. The details of the petal tips hold my attention, it's a visual mystery I can't resolve. I halfway expect to see it breathe right here on my screen. For excellence in flower photography, for illustrating the abiding mystery that you can find any day in your own garden, I humbly offer my admiration & the Gilded Lily.
