 1990 Vintage 35mm superzoom. I recall seeing some ads for this when it originally was made, and thinking how cool it was. The lens cap rotates open 180 degrees to become the flash, and also acts as the power switch. I expect to have this frequently mistaken for a camcorder.

Since my similar Olympus IS-1 does not work right (warped shutter curtain), I will be trying out this Canon soon.

Wow, that is unusual - and it does look like a camcorder. Yesterday I read a review for a Budweiser novelty camera - 35mm, looks like a can of Bud - I expect you to own one soon, keep the binoculars camera company. :) wait... here's word of it: Budweiser cam

That does seem to be what I am gravitating towards collecting. The nice thing about them is they are cheap.
