 for craig Citadel ..
havent got photoshop open at the moment to look at processing steps .. but from what i remember .
a deletable photograph of a lyre bird taken with the flash coz the light was going ..
he was perched like that on the branch of a tree ..
i did this process to show a friend who was interested in photoshop what you can do with a very ordinary photograph ...
increased canvas size 100% width .. duplicated layer and flipped horizontally so i then had the top two birds facing each other ..
did a fractalius action on it ..
brought in some clouds i took somewhere else ..
merged those layers and duplicated the merged layers and flipped vertically after increasing canvas size height ..
on the upside down image i reckon i've done an edit/transform/perspective and skew ..
would've done some adjustment layers in levels, hue/sat and possible selective colour to give the colours a boost ..
