color is a little flat

great shot. perhaps a bit of work in the digital darkroom to lighten up erin with the correct exposure may take this shot into the phenomenal category. the BG is really excellent what with the sun rays shining thru the clouds. good stuff!

Isn't the inspiration behind her? Might have worked better as a portrait from the rear, did you do one that way? I'd love to see it if you did. Nice shot though.

Excellent sky, but picture lacks contrast. A 4.

This image appears to lack contrast and is a little washed out. Try adjusting your levels or curves to maybe boost the midtones and darken the shadows a little. Maybe also increase saturation a tad if the levels or curves didn't already do that. Also check your monitor calibration - if that's out too far you're in a spot of bother.

the picture comes out very soft, mist like even. Like the setup very much but would like to see stronger colors on the model and the background.
good job

I think you needed some additional lighting here, because she's too dark against the backlight.

Use a diffused flash and a ND filter to darken the sky a bit. I think the flare took away some of the contrast in the background too.

a little too hazy for my taste, but great shot of the sun coming through the clouds in the background. Maybe alittle levels and contrast would have made this shot more dramatic.

This would have been a fantastic shot... if that woman was about 10ft to the left.

Nice idea but this just seemed really washed out and grey. Also I don't know what's under her armpits but it looks messy and chopping the body shot off before her feet also makes the picture seem incomplete.
A really nice idea but seemed rushed and lacking composition.

This is nice. I love the clouds with the rays coming through. I like the muted colors and the expression on the girls face. Good Job
